Australia vs South Africa

Join us this Saturday afternoon for a very special Variety Spotlight Tasting! We're putting the focus on Chenin Blanc, in particular, New World Chenin Blanc from South Africa and Australia! Originating in the Loire Valley, this variety is extremely versatile and can produce wine that is both dry and sweet, sparkling or still and when exposed to oak, shares similar characteristics to everything we love in an aged Chardonnay! South Africa is home to the worlds largest production of Chenin Blanc, and the variety is starting to make a name for itself in Australia. We will be opening and tasting Chenin from Yayoi Wines, Pimpernel Vineyards and South African Producer AA Badenhorst between 3pm-5pm.
